"Some wish to live within the sound of church or chapel bells, we want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell"

When I first came to Jesus, He gave me this poem to share with other
hurting people. I was a drug addict and alcoholic from age 14. I had
lost my two children and all that I had. God delivered me from my
addiction and restored my relationship with my kids. His promises are true.
There is a way out and His name is Jesus.

‘The Door”

I sit all alone and stare silently by,
Then a tear of sadness comes to my eye.
The sadness comes from deep in my heart,
Sometimes I feel it will break apart.
My mind tries to think, but the thoughts won’t come,
I think of nothing except what I have done.
I’ve destroyed my life, and all those around,
All my ears hear, is that dreadful sound.
The sound of sadness is very real,
It’s now replaced, the sound of fear.
The fear from emotions, I no longer express,
I’m at the very end, no more, and no less.
No hope for the future, a hopeless past,
I wonder how long this nothingness, will last.
I hear a knock, and I go to see,
Who has come by, to pity me?
Whoever it is, I’ll send them away,
I hate everyone, that’s the price, I must pay.
I open the door, to tell them to go,
But with that smile on his face, I couldn’t say so.
I could not resist, that glow all around,
The suddenly, my ears, hear a new sound.
It’s the sound of tears, flowing from me,
And the sound of my voice, making a plea.
I started to tell him, all I had done,
He said, “I know everything, for I am god’s son.
I was sent long ago, to die for all sin,
Just ask for forgiveness, and I will come in.
I’ll come in to your heart, it won’t break anymore,
Everything you have lost, I will restore.”
So I ask of him, my sins to forgive,
And as soon as I ask, I wanted to live.
The tears I was shedding, were a different kind,
They were tears of joy, for my newfound mind.
My new heart was filled, with peace, and love,
Jesus brought it with him, when he came from above.
My sins are forgiven, and remembered no more,
It is just like he said, “I stand at the door.”

PRAYER , How important is it?

In the Old Testament of the Bible there were many people overtaken with sins, idolatry, lusts of the flesh,

etc.. In Ezekiel 22:30,31, the word says: And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge,

and in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it, but I found none. And so the Lord God says:

I will pour out my anger upon you: I will consume you with the fire of my wrath. I have heaped upon you the full

penalty for al l your sins. God did not find anyone to cry out to Him in their behalf, to restore them to righteousness.

None were found! Is prayer important? Are there people in your home,work-place, neighborhood, that are overtaken

with sin? In the world of bikers,(which is growingrapidly ) are there bikers to encounter that are overtaken with sin?

Is God looking for someone to make up the hedge, to stand in the gap, to cry out to Him in their behalf for theirlost

souls, for their broken hearts, and shattered lives? YES!  He is. We who have experienced the miraculous saving,

life changing power of JESUS have the responsibility of not only sharing JESUS with people, but standing in the gap

for lost and hurting. Coming against the evil forces that would put up walls, that would blind the eyes, and deafen the

ears of the lost, to the thing of God. We need people to be of one mind and one accord, tocome into agreement, in

prayer against the forces of darkness that would keep people fromrecieving JESUS and all that He has for believers.

God is looking for people to stand in the gap!

                 HEART OF AN INTERCESSOR

The times when I ponder about things from above,

I think of lost souls, that don't know your love.

The time is so short, until we see you face to face.

How long will they wander before they learn of your grace?

Time is running out for us to show them the way.

Will we always say, " not now Lord, tomorrow's a better day?

For many lost souls, tomorrow will never come,

As another night passes with your work still undone.

Those souls need you now! Before the coming of your son!

So I'll kneel down in prayer Lord to battle the evil one.

The hour is getting late, but I feel that souls are being won.

So I labor on in prayer, feeling the presence of your son.

I can hear the angels singing, I can feel the morning sun.

Now when I enter in Lord, you'll say " WELL DONE! "

I am a Christian

by Maya Angelou

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin."

I'm whispering "I was lost,"

Now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say..."I am a Christian"

I don't speak of this with pride.

I'm confessing that I stumble

and need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I'm not trying to be strong.

I'm professing that I'm weak

and need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I'm not bragging of success.

I'm admitting I have failed

and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I'm not claiming to be perfect,

My flaws are far too visible

but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I still feel the sting of pain,

I have my share of heartaches

So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"

I'm not holier than thou,

I'm just a simple sinner

Who received God's good grace, somehow.
